Why Join the YMBA?

There are a lot of reasons why joining the YMBA can be very beneficial to you.

To begin with, membership is neither age-restricted nor is it limited to any certain class of industry involvement. Our goal is to assist each member in their daily struggle to reach their business and professional objectives.

Plans for the coming year include between five and six luncheons (with networking sessions and industry-leading guest speakers), two social gatherings (one in the Fall and one in the Spring), our annual golf and tennis outing and a Holiday Party, jointly sponsored by the YMBA and the Mortgage Bankers Association of New York.

Members receive advance notice of all YMBA events; listing in the Annual YMBA Membership Directory, significant discounts in event fees and guaranteed (over non-members) participation in events that happen to be limited to a certain number of participants. Importantly, members have the opportunity to become actively involved in setting future YMBA agendas and shaping the future of the YMBA into an organization that is most responsive to their needs.

We currently maintain an active membership roster of approximately 300 companies and professionals involved in all aspects of commercial mortgage banking throughout the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut tri-State area.

Our members include providers of debt and/or equity for commercial real estate, mortgage brokers and loan correspondents, finance professionals from within the property investment community, loan servicing agents, title insurers, attorneys, accountants, appraisers, consulting engineers, investment sales brokers and property leasing and managing agents.
