The History of YMBA

Formed in 1967, the Young Mortgage Bankers Association (“YMBA”) was created so that the commercial real estate industry had an association that would focus on the needs of professionals involved in real estate finance. The YMBA maintains an active membership of over 300 bankers, mortgage brokers, appraisers, environmental consultants and other industry related third party vendors. A YMBA directory is published every year which serves as an invaluable tool for locating and contacting people within the industry.
